Even though statistics shows that most married couples prefer summer and exotic locations as their choice for a romantic honeymoon, I think that most of them might consider their decision after seeing these gorgeous photographs of a town called Bled in beautiful Slovenia.
Btw. Did you know that Slovenia is the only country in the world with the hidden word “love” in it? Couldn’t be more charming, right? 😉
This true winter fairytale location is one of my absolute favorite places I have ever visited. It’s truly breathtaking and once you’ve been there, you always want to come back no matter the season. Bled is, without a doubt, one of my top choices for a honeymoon destination.
A trip across the lake Bled with the traditional boat made by locals (the Pletna boat) while looking at the Alps covered with snow, sipping on your hot chocolate…nothing short of romantic for a winter loving couple!
