I need to start by saying that this was one of the funniest weddings I’ve been to!! Funniest in the best possible way of course! ☺

First of all, it was a very small, intimate wedding in Croatia, with just family and closest of friends. Even though Iva and Robert live in Gorski kotar, they decided to get married in Rijeka. They chose a small, beautiful church right underneath the Trsat castle, which they later chose as a perfect location for their wedding portrait session.

Their wedding day was really special. So much love and laughter! I need to say that I never had more FUN photographing a wedding! ☺ The priest was making jokes all the time during the ceremony, making us all laugh so much!

But nothing beats the top moment when Robert said his vows to Iva: “I Iva take you Robert…” needless to mention the reaction in the church and a big round of applause for the groom. ☺

During and after the wedding ceremony, they were so relaxed, enjoying every little bit of their day! Small weddings really show their advantages when it comes to enjoying being a newlywed.

Iva, you are such an amazing person, beautiful on the inside and out. And Robert…I will always remember your wedding vows! 😉 It was so wonderful to be a part of your wedding day, thank you so much for having me!
