Everyone who left their homeland behind for one reason or another knows how much it hurts.
I left mine for love and I don’t regret it, but I still catch myself, very often, thinking about all of the things I left behind and about all of the things I miss the most about Croatia; deep forests, lakes and rivers, the Adriatic and its gorgeous coast…all of the things I didn’t appreciate enough while I was living there. What a surprise, ha? 😉
But I’m lucky enough to have a possibility to travel to Croatia every time when I catch some free time and the fact that Lasse loves it so much makes it even easier. I don’t know what he likes more, Croatia or Croatians…maybe the second, since he goes around yelling “živjeli, živjeli!” at any chance he gets. 🙂
This time I’m here because of work, but I won’t miss a chance to mix in a little bit of pleasure as well. Stay tuned, cuz I’ll share it all with you. 😉
