“Pack the bags, I’ll prepare the car! We’re going somewhere, anywhere!” Lasse said to me one Saturday afternoon.
Have you ever struggled with creativity? Being uncreative when you need to get – things – done? You know…those moments we all hate when your head and heart and whole body seems disconnected?
You sit around, over thinking stuff and at the end almost giving up on everything, because the frustrations and fears are just too much to handle. And then WE become too much to handle and we drive our loved ones crazy!
When those moments occur, I’ve learned that I need to stop trying to achieve something. I just need to STOP and do the opposite…to go off mode.
I need to relax, eat ice cream, watch trashy TV, I need to go somewhere. We need to write, sing, dance, and create without any expectations! We need to see what others don’t see!
As they say:
To be creative you need to lose the fear of being wrong.
Today might be one of those days, but with Lasse being in Denmark and myself in Croatia I need to figure this one on my own.
Gorski kotar here I come! 😉
